Ideas Into Money Via Products & Services

Ideas are all that many businesses are started with… and run with. There will be more on this thread in future posts. The simple diagram here gives the flow.

While simple, it conveys one way to view monetizing your ideas (or your organization’s).

Left out (until later) are the business models & profit models that are part of the operational picture.

But the diagram introduces two basic ways to categorize business activities: products & services.  The international trademark classes are divided into two similar categories.  For our purposes, we’ve shown that there are hybrids that may contain both a product and a service, such as a computer with a warranty.

Going back into history, before someone made a product or created a service, they had the idea about it.  Unfortunately, there are also a lot of unsuccessful ideas, or un-workable ones.

And not everyone finds idea creation to be an easy task.  Especially when we “try” to create ideas.  Future posts and links will help people to brainstorm better, create more ideas, and then decide effectively on which are the best ideas to work with.
